Services

I approach therapy sessions with curiosity and invite you to be curious with me. Together we can explore challenges and discover what patterns, experiences, thoughts, or unmet needs may contributing to your distress. My approach is collaborative, integrative, and flexible, with roots in interpersonal neurobiology and adaptive information processing. While I won’t tell you what to do, I will offer information, perspective, skills, and questions to help you move toward relief and healing.

Individual Therapy Specializing in:

  • Trauma

Trauma is what happens when our nervous system is overwhelmed and we are unable to process an experience in a healthy or adaptive way.

Trauma therapy can help process and integrate the experience(s) so that it’s effects no longer impact daily life.

  • Anxiety

Whether you experience constant worry, social anxiety, or a specific fear, coping with anxiety can be a daily struggle.

In therapy, we can address any underlying causes and build skills for calming the nervous system and managing anxious thoughts.

  • Perinatal Mental Health

Perinatal mental health refers to mental health concerns that occur during pregnancy through the first year postpartum (e.g. pre or postpartum depression or anxiety, trauma, coping with a NICU stay, difficulty adjusting to changes, and more).

  • Neurodivergence

As a late-diagnosed ADHDer myself, I enjoy helping clients learn about their unique brain, both strengths and challenges, and find ways to make daily life feel easier.

If you carry hurt from past experiences when you, or others, did not understand or accept you, we can work through that too. Above all, I want you to know that you’re worthy and deserve compassion and support.

  • Parenting

Parenting is one of the most demanding, difficult, and important jobs we can have, and yet there is no required training and very little built-in support. Additionally, our kids often bring up our own unresolved issues from childhood.

Whether you’re struggling with attachment, regulating your emotions, or parenting a neurodivergent child, please reach out.

  • Grief, Loss, & Life Transitions

Loss is a part of life, and the resulting grief can feel overwhelming. Additionally, grief can be complicated by a factors such as the circumstances of the loss and your individual history.

If you are struggling to cope with a loss (e.g. death, the loss of a relationship, loss of a job, or another change that feels like a loss) I would be honored to support you.
